Hi,

Here are steps to download and install Ubuntu 16.04 LTS:

1. Download the Ubuntu from its official website.

2. Copy the downloaded image file ubuntu-16.04-desktop-amd64.iso in one of the directory on your computer.

3. Start the Oracle Virtual box if you are installing as guest os.

4. Create a new Linux --> Ubuntu 64 Bit VM

5. Increase the RAM and CPUs for your VM

6. Use ubuntu-16.04-desktop-amd64.iso for booting the VM

7. Start your VM

8. On startup you will find two options a) Try Ubuntu b) Install Ubuntu

9. Choose the Option Install Ubuntu

10. Then follow the instruction as described in the above video and install your OS

11. After installation restart the VM and now your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS desktop is ready to use.

After installing the Ubuntu you customize the desktop and install more software.
