The dolls are also divided into different sections. One section of the museum features dolls that come from India and a variety of other Asian countries along with some parts of Africa and the Middle East. The other section features dolls from Europe and the Americas. The variety of countries that these dolls are from showcases the great influences that can be found in many different countries where dolls are crafted in. These include not only the costumes but also the design features of these dolls.
A number of dolls here come from a variety of people who have sent in dolls. Shankar brought in many of these dolls but a number have been donated by many Prime Ministers over the years. Some of the dolls were donated by many emissaries and visitors to India from all kinds of countries. Even people who have ruled over many countries have donated different dolls to the museum upon their visits to India.
People who visit the museum can also learn about the ways how dolls are crafted. This includes reviewing the many ways how dolls are designed and how their clothing can be built. A full step by step look at how these dolls are made will be covered to give viewers an idea of just how well these dolls can be built. Many of these dolls can even be sold to visitors who want to take home a very unique keepsake from the museum.
