MVC is design pattern for seperating the application into three different components, Model (data), View (JSP pages) and Controller (Application controller). This way it easily to manage the application development.

The Spring MVC is a module in Spring Framework which implements MVC design pattern for development. Spring MVC helps developers to well organize their web application and develop better application.
