Zambia shares its boundaries with Malawi in the east, Angola in the west, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia in the south and Democratic Republic of Congo in the north. Lusaka is the capital and the largest city of the country.
Zambia is home to the largest falls in the world, Victoria Falls. There are also large river basins flowing in the country that include Zambezi River Basin and Congo River Basin. Some of the rivers that originate from these basins are River Kabompo, River Luangwa, River Kafue and River Zambezi among few others. Eastern Zambia has an extensive geography of Valleys, plateaus and rivers.
