Udhagamandalam(Ooty) Tourism :

Udhagamandalam which is often known as Ooty is the most sought after hill station in south India. The pristine beauty of nature has given it the status of the Queen of Hill Stations. The headquarters of the Nilgiri regions Ooty is located in the western ghat at the altitude of 2240 metre. The Nilgiri regions have its own significance as the meeting point of the two ghat ranges. Apart from tea and coffee plantation this hill station is marked with the different trees like Confiers, wattle, pine, eucalyptus. The pleasant weather of Ooty even in summer (max 25 degree celcius) attracts a huge number of tourists who visits Ooty to relax for some days at least far from the scorching sun of the tropical regions.

Coonor and Kothagiri which are located at a distance of 19 kms and 31 kms respectively are two another small hill station of the Nilgiri District which has been proudly announced as one of the fourteen hotspots of the world for its exclusive bio diversity.

Kodaikkanal Tourism in Tamil Nadu :

The discovery of Kodaikkanal is not happened in one day. It has taken almost 24 years to ascertain the place like Kodaikkanal. In1821 Lieutenant Ward came to Kodaikkanal to survey the place. After 13 years the Madurai collector has visited the place and has constructed a tiny bungalow. Finally in 1845 the American Missionaries has built two bungalows namely Shelton and Sunnyside. Later 6 American families settled in Kodaikkanal. The initiatives of the English people clearly exhibit their interest in Kodaikkanal which serves the purpose of the Europeans and the British in India. Kodaikkanal has first been invaded by the Indians for its grotesque beauty in the 20th Century. Now the captivating beauties of nature including the wooden slopes, trees, meadows and forests enchant the tourists from far and corner.

Tour to Yelagiri :
Located amid the four mountains Yelagiri, a celebrated hill station is recognized for its salubrious climate that dominates although the year. The 14 hairpin bends on the way from Ghat road to Yelagiri hilltop, provides perfect awe inspiring view to the vistas of mountains and surroundings. The tourists must closely observe the seventh bend which provides a panoramic view to the slopes of the hill as well as the rippling green hills.Yelagiri, basically inhabited by the tribes, consists of fourteen villages.

Visit to Yercaud:
Situated on the Shevaroy hills of the Eastern Ghats Yercaud is unique in its climate in the northern Tamilnadu. With the moderate temperature Yercaud is comparatively cheap than Ooty or Kodaikkanal. It is a home of many citrus fruits, bananas, jack, and pear and so on. The prime attractions are Lady's Seat, Pagoda Point, Pagoda Point, Killiyur Falls, Kaveri Peak, Arthur's Seat and the Shevaroyan Temple.

Trip to Annamalai Hills of Tamil Nadu:
Lying between 10 degree13 min and 10 degree 31 min North latitude, Annamalai Hills, a range of mountains in Southern India, in the Coimbatore district of Madras, has formed a part of the Western Ghats. This is a place mountainous region with the abundance of grasses on it. Anaimudi, the highest peak of Southern India, is situated here. The prominent tourist spots are – Monkey Falls, the Crocodile Breeding Centre at Amaravati, Aliyar, Attakatti, Indira Gandhi Wild Life Sanctuary and National Park, Mirar, Monompally and so on.591

Visit to Annamalai Wildlife Sanctuary:
Located at the height of 1,400 metres in the Western Ghats Annamalai always remains crowded with the visitors. The different animals that attract the visitors are black headed oriol, tiger, green pigeon, civet cat, pangolin, panther, and gaur and so on. Amravati reservoir in Annamalai is the home of the crocodiles. The prime places are – Karain Shola, Grass Hills, and Anaikunthi Shola, waterfalls, teak forests and groves and so on.

How to Reach Tamil Nadu:
By Air: The closest airport is located at Coimbatore.
By Train/Rail: The closest railway station at Pollachi. Trains are available for Dingigul and Coimbatore.
By Road: Regular bus services are available from Coimbatore and Palani to Pollachi. A rented taxi or a bus can be availed from Pollachi to topslip.

Visit to Nabagraha Temples: The people of Tamilnadu greatly believe in astrology and the influence of the planets. Nabagraha which means nine planets, are the nine temples of Tamilnadu. Each and every temple represents a planet. Interestingly, all the nine temples are situated within the range of 60 km around Kumbokanon in Thanjavur District. The nine temples are Suryanar Koil, Vaitheswaran Koil, Tingaloor Koil, Alangudi, Tiruvenkadu, Kanchanoor, Tirunallar, Tirunageswharan, and Keezhperumpallam.
