Nagaland holds only one airport at Dimapur, 74 kms away from Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland that is connected from Guwahati (Assam) and Kolkata (West Bengal). Tourists can take the services of tourist buses, taxis and local buses to reach the capital city Kohima. The journey time is about 3 hours.
How to get Nagaland by Rail?
The railway network is not so strong in Nagaland but the nearest railhead is in Dimapur connect Nagaland to Guwahati (Assam). Guwahati is well connected to all major cities of India.
How to get Nagaland by Road?
The state capital Kohima is connected to Imphal in Manipur (123 km) and Guwahati in Assam (400 km) by road.
