The important tourist attractions of Kashmir Valley are Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Pari Mahal, Hazratbal Mosque, Jama Masjid, Chashma Shahi, Shankaracharya Temple and Martand, Awantipur.

Tour to Gulmarg Jammu & Kashmir is the mountain resort near Srinagar. Gulmarg is the highest green golf course and a ski hub located at an altitude of 2,650mtrs. The dense conifer forests surround Gulmarg. It is known as one of the matchless tourist destination.

Travel to Sonamarg is a real treat to the eyes. This is a famous hill station and adventure spot. Located at an altitude of 2740m, Sonamarg remains cold during the summers. The best time to visit Sonamarg is May and June. The tourists can take the advantage of trekking, sledging, fishing, paragliding, white river rafting and much more.

Visit to Panitop is located in the Shivalik hills of Himalayas. Its natural beauty includes dense woods and green Pines. Panitop is one of the best-developed tourist destination located in the Kashmir Valley. The 600-year old Lord Shiva temple is its main attraction.

Tour to Pahalgam, popularly known as ?The Valley of Shepherds? is a small and beautiful town, which is about 95 km away from Srinagar. The Aru and Sheshnag rivers are outstanding places to view Kashmir?s glory. During the independence, Pahalgam became a part of India. Amarnathji temple, located at 46 kms away from Pahalgam, is an important pilgrimage in the region.

Pilgrimage tour to Katra / Vasihnodevi Temple is one of the most sacred places for the Hindus. The shrine of Goddess Vaishnodevi is located 16 km north of Jammu and 13 km of Katra, in the mountains of Trikuta Hills. The cave temple depicts the incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi, Goddess Kali and Goddess Saraswati. There is a strong belief that whoever walks to the Mata Vaishnodevi and asks for a wish; they never get disappointed. March-April and September-October are considered to be the favorable times to visit Mata Vasihnodevi. The rest of the year it is very cold here.

Tourism In Ladakh Jammu & Kashmir, the snow-capped mountains of the Great Himalayas is a hot tourist attraction place in Kashmir. A travel to Leh-Ladakh region can be made worth by visiting to Leh palace, Shey Palace, Stok Palace, Buddhist monasteries of Phiyang, Hemis, Thiksey, Likir, Spituk, Alchi, Lakes of Pangong and Tso-moriri etc. If you are adventure sports lover then the options like river rafting, trekking and mountain climbing are available.
