The Garden of Five Senses in Delhi
There is a relatively new garden in Delhi that has already become a hit among tourists to the city. This is the Garden of Five Senses. It is located in the Saidul Ajaib around the area of Mehrauli, a notable neighborhood in the southwestern part of Delhi.
The Garden of Five Senses was created in 2003 as a production supported from the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation. This garden is about twenty acres in size.
The tourist attraction point of the Garden of Five Senses Delhi is that it is used to provoke the five senses. Many of the individual points of the garden help to support different types of senses.
One of the first points to see about this garden is that it has been designed in a Mughal pattern. This pattern is used to help promote a beautiful space that is leisurely and at the same time functional. This means that several small water canals are featured around the garden alongside a series of square patterns to create more unique spaces that people can walk around. The garden even features lighting in some areas so people can experience the beauty during the darker hours of the day.
The Khas Garden is the first spot in the Garden of Five Senses must to visit place. This tourist spot features a variety of plants but is especially noted for its large number of sculptures. There are more than twenty sculptures around the Khas Garden. There are also several water canals and fountains located around the garden. Some of these will move people to the central part of the garden. This is where the food court is located.
This part of the Garden of Five Senses New Delhi also features a large solar energy area. This was created as a means of promoting the development of solar energy and to inform people about how it works and what it can be used for. This spot features several different vehicles and other large items that are fully functional and are powered with solar energy without letting off any substantial pollutants or other dangerous materials.
The Color Garden is the next place in the Garden of Five Senses to visit. This spot in the garden is noted for having more colors for its plants than other areas in the garden. An interesting point about this area is that it features items that can promote all of the senses. People can hear the wind chimes in the area, smell the food that is being prepared nearby and feel the warmth of the area as the sun moves down directly onto the Color Garden.
The Court of Specimen Plants is an interesting point here. This spot features several different rate plant forms.
The Neel Bagh section of the Garden of Five Senses is a beautiful area that features a large construction alongside a water pool with water lilies inside of it. The sense of sound is supported through the decorative wind chimes that have been placed around this area.
There are many great things that can be found around the Garden of Five Senses throughout the year. Several different fairs, dance events, food market events and music programs can be found here. The schedule of events at the park is always changing.
The Five Senses Garden of New Delhi is a beautiful garden that features all kinds of great activities and attractions. This is a space that covers all sorts of spaces. The space is very attractive and at the same time supports more than just the sense of sight. It covers all of the senses with its beautiful sounds and the scents of food in the air.
