Mysql Lpad

Mysql Lpad is used to add the padding to the left end of the string. The Mysql
Padding function will be stooped if the combination of string and the added
padding reach length character. Incase the length of a string is shorter than
length the string will be shortening from the left to the length
specified.

The Tutorial illustrate an example from 'Mysql Lpad'. To grasp this
example we create a table 'employee1'.The table 'employee1' is created with
required fieldname and datatype respectively.

Query to view lpad from Table named employee1 :
The Query below is used to add the padding to the left end of the string.In
case the string size in column is less than length,then it add the padding * to
the left of the respective string.
