How to Calculate Area of Triangle

In this section we will learn how to calculate area of triangle. We are going to use area of triangle is half of the area of the parallelogram. Here in this program we will fine the how to the display massage the area of triangle. The triangle application implement by the three side angle get the values of triangle.

Description of this program

This is very java programming tutorial program in the section you see that how to get triangle values. First of all, we have to define class name "StaticExample". After that we are going to define three character type values for static variable. To calculate the area of triangle define the method triangle which will calculate the area of triangle. Then the program perform and  return of triangle value this command "return(width*height*length/2)". The area will be calculated by calling the triangle method inside the main method by using the StaticExample object that is staticSum. This method will return an integer type value and the area of the triangle will be display by using the println() method.

 Here is the code of this program

import java.io.*;

class StaticExample
{
  public static int width;
  public static int height;
  public static int length;

  public static void main(int width1, int height1, int length1
  {
    width= width1;
    height=height1;
    length=length1;
  }
  public int triangle()
  {
    return(width*height*length/2);
  }
  public static void main(String arg[])
  {
    try
    {
    StaticExample staticSum = new StaticExample();
    BufferedReader object= new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in));
    System.out.println("Enter number");
    staticSum.width=Integer.parseInt(object.readLine());
    staticSum.height=Integer.parseInt(object.readLine());
    staticSum.length=Integer.parseInt(object.readLine());
    int i= staticSum.triangle();
    System.out.println("value is="+ staticSum.width);
    System.out.println("value is="+ staticSum.height);
    System.out.println("value is="+ staticSum.length);
    System.out.println("The values of triangle="+ i);
  }
  catch(Exception e){}
  }
}
