Java bigdecimal multiply example
Example below demonstrates bigdecimal class multiply method example. Method returns a bigdecimal object value. Method multiply
this.object value with the
value of the specified object. Scale of the result will be the sum of this.object value scale + the scale of the specified object value.
In the example two bigdecimal objects are created and assigned integer as well double type values.
Method throws NumberFormatException if it finds value other
than integer & double.
Syntax for using the method : public BigDecimal multiply(BigDecimal multiplicand)
BigDecimal objects with names x ,y & z;
y = x.multiply(y);
