North Korea witnesses a continental climate with long, chilly winters. Snowstorms are frequent in winters. The hot and humid temperature in summers is moderated by rainfall. Culturally, North and South Korea are close to each other. The art forms, the ancient buildings and monuments depict the contemporary culture of North Korea.
