Popularly known as one of the Asia?s four Tigers, Singapore is a country located in Southeast Asia. It is one of the fastest growing economies in the world at the moment. It is highly urbanised. Singapore was occupied by Japan after the end of Second World War and British replaced Japan after few years. The tropical rainforest climate of Singapore experiences no variations in the temperature throughout the year. There is also abundance of rainfall, which moderates the warm and humid temperature.

The market-based economy of Singapore is dependent on exports of electronics and petroleum refining. The service sector in the country employs a large majority of the total population.
