The land of Lithuania adds to the beauty and mystique of Europe. Located in the north of Europe, it is the biggest of the three Baltic States, the other two being Estonia and Latvia. While the temperature in winters may dip down to as low as ?6 C in many places, the summers are much more pleasant with an average temperature of 16 C.

Lithuania is a fast growing economy. Majority of the population belongs to higher income group and thus they enjoy a high standard of living. The culture of the country has many facets. It's a mixture of the traditions of the highlands, lowlands and some ancient customs.
