Object-Based language supports abstract data types and could create objects of classes but could not inherit from base classes.While Object Oriented language uses all the features of OOPS and could create objects as well as full fledged class hierarchies by inheriting and reusing them.

The main difference between Object-Based and Object-Oriented language is
object-oriented languages supports inheritance where as
object-based laguages doesn't supports inheritance
