What is the difference between Flex and AIR application?
please tell me about this difference

Flex:
The Adobe Flex framework is the collection of ActionScript 3 classes and the components which develope rich internet application(RIA). Adobe Flex builder is an IDE for develop the flex application. The output of the flex application is .swf file which is run on flash player. if flex application is develop in any other IDE you have to need Flex SDK for compile the application. Flex application run on desktop and webbrowser also. The flex application run on many operating systems.

AIR application:
AIR is stands for Adobe Integrated Runtime. It is a cross-operating system runtime that allows developers to use their existing web development skills to build and deploy rich Internet applications to the desktop. An AIR application uses the HTML, AJAX also. You have to need the AIR runtime for run the AIR application on desktop.
