What is the difference between a business analyst and a project manager? How can a Project Management Certificate prove helpful for the Business analyst?

There is always a state of confusion between the role of a business analyst and project manager and the role of both business analyst and project manager differ in many aspects.

A business analyst is basically involved in collecting and understanding the information and requirements of the business. They are also responsible for identifying the problems and shortcomings of the existing system and suggest possible solutions for them.

However, a project manager is responsible to manage the entire project life cycle including planning, monitoring, controlling and evaluating all aspects of the project with respect to scope, budget, schedule, quality and resources.

As far as certification is concerned, a Project management certification could definitely help you to become a good business analyst.
