A country famous for its huge Diamond reserves, Sierra Leone is an African nation located in the western part of the continent. Farmlands and forests characterize the central part of the county, which is mostly lowland. The tropical climate of the country is accompanied with a wet season from May to November.

The diamonds and mining drive Sierra Leone's economy. It is one of the top ten diamond producing countries in the world. Agriculture employs a large percentage of the population.
