Of late, due to high competition in these industries it has become crucial for the managers to maintain their fleet and take it to next level. Due to increasing theft and use of trucks for illegal purposes it is pivotal that the managers keep a tight eye on their fleet of trucks.

Maintenance of trucks falls in the management. When most of the truck travel to different corner of the country and world, it?s obvious that they are tested to their extent. They need regular servicing and maintenance in order to keep them going and make their life long.

Daily reports has to be maintained of the trucks arrival, departure, items loaded, defects report and many others. Even a small ignorance can cost heavy.

In recent times, fleet management of trucks has become quiet easy due to the introduction of technologies like GPS (Global Positioning System) and GLONASS (Global Navigation Satellite System). Most of the trucks come loaded with such technologies however one can add them afterwards too. They cannot only keep tracks of the movement of the fleet but also can record related data like speed, number of stops, where the stops were made. Tracking devices can also aid the driver to take the best route, avoid traffic and ultimately reach faster to their destination. It cuts down the total operational cost and increase productivity.
