Two Indexes in For Loop

In this example we will show how we can use two indexes in a for loop.

Two Indexes in For Loop

Two Indexes in For Loop

In this example we will show how we can use two indexes in a for loop. We can solve this problem by using for loop defined inside the scriptlet directive..

for(int FIndex =0; otherIndex = 0; FIndex <= 5; FIndex++, otherIndex = 2 + FIndex)

In this for loop we are taking two index of type int inside a for loop, the indexes are FIndex and otherIndex. Now put a condition on FIndex that FIndex<=5, then at last increment the FIndex by 1 and increment otherIndex = 2 + FIndex.   The output will be displayed by the out object.

The Code of the program is given below:

<HTML>
  <HEAD>
    <TITLE>Two Indexes in for Loop </TITLE>
  </HEAD>
    <BODY>
   <table border="1" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"
        width="60%" align="center" bgcolor= "#FFFFCC">
     <tr><td>
	<font  size="6" color ="#000080">Two Indexes in for Loop</font><br>
    <%
        for (int FIndex = 0, otherIndex = 0; FIndex <= 5;
            FIndex++, otherIndex = 2 + FIndex) {
            out.println("FIndex: " + FIndex +
                " otherIndex: " + otherIndex + "<BR>");
        }
    %>
	</td>
	</tr>
	</table>
  </BODY>
</HTML>

The output of the program is given below:
