hey i dint understand the form bean was named EmptyForm in xml u named logicform and in jsp logic:present name="logicform1".. y the name of form is changed

The JSP fragment refers to LogicForm1 while the config file refers to LogicForm. Also, the logic:present/notPresent tags check all scopes, not just request scope.
