Hi folks,
I have a struts application in which I need to form web pages and send them to the users via email as a batch processs on a daily basis. If I have to create thousands of web pages using the link
say http://myapplication-base.com/createproductlistings.do?prod_cat=1 in my program,
and receive the response in a HTTPResponse type object, it causes so many http requests passed on to the server and may thereby cause over burden on the Tomcat.
So, is there any ,method by which I can create those web pages without giving http requests (create them directly and get the response with all the graphics and images on the web pages?)
Please help me asap.
Thanks & Regards

Input validations can be achieved using javaScript and hense without sending input data to the server when not using Struts,Is it not the case in struts where input data hav to be sent to server to fill aActionForms and then validate??
Posted by Pritesh on Friday, 03.16.07 @ 14:52pm | #11910
I m little confused how validation occurs before request is reached to controller as Action forms are validated and only ActionServlet decides which ActionForms are to be used for a particular action...
So,Which 1 executes first..Action Servlet or Validation of Action Forms??
