1. There is no structs-documentation.war file in the bundle downloaded structs2.0.0-a.zip

2. there is no structs-example.war file in the bundle
3. include tomcat procedure to build and deploy or if you are using jboss write it down how to deploy/

Ramani.

Posted by ramanirani on Saturday, 07.14.07 @ 00:15am | #21241

I don't understand what is so good you people are praising about this article. First of all he had started with tomcat and then jumps into Jboss. And asked to go into jboss website to build and deploy the application. All this said was download tomcat, download struts. and that too part is wrong. I donot see any structs-document.war files. all I see is struct blank, structs showcase, structs mail and another file. How come no one asked about where this documentation file is comming from. anyway if this should be a complete document write what to put in the place of structs documentation (of course it is not reauired for application deployment), then tell how to build and deploy first structs application.

what is the difference between Action and ActionForm in struts.

Posted by abdul on Wednesday, 12.20.06 @ 15:24pm | #1331

ActionServlet, Action, ActionForm and struts-config.xml are the part of Controller.
Hi,
I saw the above line under "controller:"
Is'nt ActionForm a bean?ActionForm only has getter and setter methods .So it should be a part of model, not part of controller as you've explained.
