Conversion from float to long:

In this tutorial we will learn how to convert a float type value to long type value.

Description:

This program will take a float value from console and provides a conversion to long type data. The line float myfloat = Float.parseFloat(buffreader.readLine()); reads the float type data from console. The line long mylong = (long)(myfloat); converts the myfloat float type value to mylong long type value.
