Tutorial: ASP Form Processing Submitting data to forms with IP*Works! WebForm Tutorial

ASPRSS has a subscription service that automatically submits articles to all the ASP directories out there. This article shows how the data is submitted to their forms using the IP*Works! WebForm component.

Tutorial Details:

Submitting data to forms with IP*Works!

The ASPRSS subscription service

However, once the basic features were implemented I wanted to go one step further and provide a subscription service too. The service automatically submits new resources in the publishers RSS to the forms on all the registered directory sites ( see an example ). This article describes how that was implemented.

The idea was simple - read the RSS from the publishers, determine the new resources and submit them to the directory sites each day. As it turned out, the implementation using the /n software IP*Works! v5 component was easy too.

In fact, I happened to be in the right place at the right time with /n software. They were an advertiser on this site and mentioned to me that they were coming out with a new version 5 of their component that would include, amongst other things, a WebForm object. Perfect timing.
