Tutorial Details:

Sun StorEdge 3511 FC Array with SATA

The Sun StorEdge 3511 FC array with SATA provides massively expandable, fully fault tolerant storage capacity for secondary and near line storage applications. The Sun StorEdge 3511 FC array is ideal for such secondary storage computing environments as Data Lifecycle Management (DLM) or near line data repositories that typically require high capacity but without the utilization and access characteristics normally associated with primary storage applications such as databases. Unlike most SATA arrays, this array can now expand to over 28TB of storage capacity, up to 12 servers can be connected to it without using a switch, and the entire array can be configured for complete fault tolerant redundancy.
