JooConverter 1.0b3 released
JooConverter 1.0 beta 3 is available from the SourceForge Download Page.
Tutorial Details:
This release fixes a problem with file URLs that prevented JooConverter to work with OpenOffice.org 680 development snapshots (that will eventually become version 2.0).
Since OpenOffice.org URLs are different from java.net.URIs, JooConverter API was revised to have DocumentConverter.convert() accept java.io.File for local files, or Strings for other URLs.
JooTemplates 0.8 released

New features include
* image replacement
* alternating table row colors (or any other document element)
* nesting iterated elements (e.g. nested tables or bullet items inside a table cell)
* improved performance when generating multiple documents from the same template
The online demo demonstrates some new features.
