Tutorial Details:
Browse through thousands of records returned by SQL queries, with advanced features like multi-level cache, multi-column sort; input data with combo-box populated from the database; benefit from powerful GUI ... The Bright Side Framework has all you need to implement your rich client business J2EE applications.
The framework is made of server and client components which collaborate, and are optimized for scalability and performance. The server components (EJB) can be deployed on any J2EE application server, with a reference implementation for JOnAS and JBoss
The framework is best described by its implementation, and each component has its own interactive demo which illustrates its functionnality. The demos are 3-tier J2EE applications. You just have to deploy the Java/Swing client on your desktop with Java Web Start, and it will interact with our J2EE application server
The Bright Side Framework is open-source, proposed with a BSD license.
To work with the Bright Side Framework, first read a description of its architecture and components, play with the various online demos, and have a look at the FAQs. Then go to the ObjectWeb forge to download the packages or access the CVS repository. The Bright Side Framework has been tested on JOnAS and JBoss.
