Tutorial Details:

In this section, we are going to explain the method to find out the hostname port number of a local machine. This program defines the IOException for the exception handling. This exception is thrown to indicate an I/O problem in the program. Here, we are giving a complete example named EchoClientSocket.java, in which we call a Socket class of java.net package, which represented the Hostname. Its constructor passes two arguments like local machine hostname and port number. If the machine supports both arguments then Client socket information will be displayed on command line such as local port number and hostname. If the local machine doesn't supports the hostname and port number then the program will give an UnKnownHostException massage.
