We are very proud to announce this alpha4 release of VLOS-1.3 with lot of new features and enhancements including: Anaconda updated to FC5-test3, Xgl with compiz, 3D support by default, latest proprietary drivers from ATI (8.23.7) and NVIDIA (8178); X.Org 7.0, Gnome-2.14.0, Avahi (aka Rendezvous, Bonjour and sometimes Zeroconf); latest DBUS and HAL; Gnome Power Manager; KDE-3.5.1, OpenOffice-2.0.1, Beagle, Xchat-gnome, Audacious, kernel-2.6.15, GCC-4.0.2, Mplayer, Ekiga and lot more.. VLOS-1.3-alpha4 is available as both CD and DVD ISOs, read the complete releases notes here or download it through bittorent here. (Note: this version have all packages included in full versions of VLOS and is available for testing purposes).
