sync'ing in premiere
This will show the very basics of being able to sync accurately.
1. first you need your clip and audio
2. get the clip youd like selected and eyeball its position.
3. keep doing previews until it looks close.
zoom very close in on the music. you will notice a spike in the wave. that is where you want to have the height of your explosion or the moment a medal shows up. trim the beginning and end of the clip so you can move it around freely until visually, the action is synched with the audio. then expand the endpoints back to the surrounding clips. dont rely on syncing "by ear" because when you render the final thing, one small mistake can ruin the whole sequence.
