In this tutorial ,you'll be learning on how to add BUMP_MAPPING onto your texture, BUMPM is, is that you add an effect to your texture that makes the material look deeper and simply more high resolutioned.
1. First thing you need to do, is that you need a texture (doh) and if you do not have any texture then feel free to use the one.
2. Now, open the texture in Photoshop, change to greyscale (Image>Mode>Greyscale) then apply auto contrast (Image>adjustments>Auto Contrast) and then sim;oy save the file as a new JPEG
3. Alright, the third thing to do is to open Cinema 4D, and create a new materal
Once that is done, just open the material editor meny (Double click the MAT-Sphere) and go into the color option and apply the texture of whatever you have chosen and when the window appears after opening the texture, just choose "NO" Alright,now head over to the "BUMP" section an dupload the GREYSCALE version of the texture and again, hit "No" on the window appearing.
