Tutorial: P2P Filesharing Software MobileMule - eMule via a mobile phone Tutorial

MobileMule is a great way to control your eMule from around the world using just your mobile phone. This guide will show you how to install, configure and use this software.

Tutorial Details:

MobileMule - eMule via a mobile phone

MobileMule is a little application which lets you control your eMule with your Java-enabled mobile phone.

It is still a beta version and it does not yet give you a full control. For the moment of writing this, it lets you control downloading, searching, and shut eMule and computer down.

Requirements
Almost all you need to run MobileMule is a Java-enabled mobile phone with at least 50 kB of free memory and 150-200 kB heap (almost every newer model has it).

A colour screen would be naturally most welcome (especially that some older models with black and white screens do not have enough heap).

Quite obviously, your mobile needs to be able to connect to the Internet using the http protocol. Most Java-enabled mobiles can do that.

And the last thing: port nr. 80 must be open for incoming connections. If you have a firewall or router, you will have to open it.
