Software eMule - configuration guide

General:
Make eMule look as you wish;

Proxy:
To be honest, using proxy is pointless in eMule; it does not actually help at all;

Servers:
Remove dead servers after ... retries - you can set anything you wish here; if you generally have problems with connections, set it higher than three;

Update serverlist when connecting to a server - you can use this option but you will need to update the adresses.dat file with appropriate addresses);

Auto-update serverlist at startup - you better turn it on;

Update serverlist when a client connect - in fact, this option does not really change much and it is not really important whether you have it on or off;

Use priority system - you better turn it on;
