The answers to many common Dreamweaver questions are in the code

Does some of the terminology in the Dreamweaver interface seem strange to you? Have you ever been puzzled by the code Dreamweaver generates or wondered why Dreamweaver marks certain code invalid? The answers are in the code itself. Both the Dreamweaver interface and the code Dreamweaver generates are based on the rules and structure of HTML. Understanding those rules and structure can clear up some of the confusion and answer some of the most common questions about using Dreamweaver.

When I select some text and choose Heading 2 in the Property inspector, why does the whole line become large and bold?

Why does Dreamweaver insert FONT tags in every paragraph when I only specified the font once at the top of the page?

Why doesn't Dreamweaver show normal font sizes (such as 10, 12, 14) in the Property inspector?

It's great that I can set the border width around my images, but why can't I set the border color?
