How to make a brust effect

This lesson will teach you the methods of using burst effect in Photoshop.

How to design a burst effect

     

You are going to learn the procedure of designing burst effect, here we have mentioned some of the very simple steps, which will be helpful for beginners in this example.

New File: First take a new file of any size. I have taken here a file of "Height = 200" and "Width = 200".

Shape: Select Polygonal lasso tool (L key) and make any type of selection as I have done here.

Ripple: Go to Filter menu > Distort> Ripple and adjust setting as given below.

Gaussian Blur: Go to Filter menu > Blur > Gaussian Blur and make adjustment as I have done here.

Redial Blur: Go to Filter menu > Blur > Redial Blur and adjust setting as here.

Your image will look like this

Now again use Ripple and Redial Blur as given below.
