Total Quality Management (TQM) is a part of business management, which deals with improving the quality of every aspects of business whether its products, strategy, process etc for a better output of the organization.No company can survive in today tough competitions where customer is the supreme power and it can be satisfied only after product of good quality. Total Quality Management highlights the facts that how to dealt with customer with better quality products.

In tough competitive era where customer is the supreme tool, which decides the success of a company, no company can ignore them for its survival. There was a time when selling and buying was termed as a market but in modern stiff competitive time, branding and quality has become a crucial factor for marketing. That is why today companies are bound to concentrate on the improving of its brands and product otherwise your opponent companies are waiting to take advantage for your lapses.

To survive in market, companies have changed their old parameter in defining their marketing strategies. Now they have known the fact that customer is everything for their practices and survival is difficult if their interests and taste have been ignored. Some of experts think that quality management increases the competition among the products and the ultimate beneficial is customer.

If you are not update in improving your products as per the change and taste of time, your competitor companies are waiting for taking advantages for your negligence. Now customer have become matured more and it is aware about all the quality of product and even services provided by the various companies. Thus it is essential for the companies to focus on the quality of the product and services so that it can be positioned in the mind of customer.

Customer satisfaction is the main goal for any business organization, however is not so easy to meet their expectation. Companies first identify their goals and then tries to fulfill them however customer satisfaction is not a constant and always it change as fashion, preferences and taste dominate customer mindset.

Thus it is TQM, which tries to find out these issues and tries to improve the process and quality of the services so that customer can be satisfied. There are various TQM models, which helps companies in identifying the customer taste and their preferences and modify its products and services as per their needs. Generally theses models explain in assessing the taste, preferences and need of customers. It also focuses on those customers who are the consumers of its opponent products and such customer who could be its customer in future. All these information and data analyses by the experts and then it changed into a final strategy for the better output of the company.

Keeping customer satisfaction on top priority, TQM modified all the processes and products as per the need of customer. Also it monitors the process frequently so that the quality of products can be maintained for long time.
