| PCLinuxOS 2007 Test 4 is available now |
| Texstar and the Ripper Gang are pleased to announce the release of the fourth and final test release of PCLinuxOS 2007! Mirrors are currently being updated so please allow 24 hours for all mirrors to sync up. Release notes: This test release includes updated kernel 2.6.18.8 which we hope will address some boot hang issues experienced with a few of our users, updated hal/udev for better peripheral handling, Java updates, updated KDE 3.5.6 desktop optimized for speed, OpenOffice.org 2.2.0, new NVIDIA and ATI proprietary RPMs in our testing repository (not on live CD) with self-configuration scripts (needs testing), bug fixes and many many updated packages.

It is my privilege to announce on behalf of the team members of the PCLinuxOS Magazine Project sponsored by MyPCLinuxOS.com, the May 2007 issue (#9) is available for download! Our previous issues can also be downloaded.
