Latest test install used 40MB RAM on idle with HAL, dbus and DeviceHandler running the auto-mounting scheme. 26 MB on idle without. AbiWord 2.5.1, GIMP 2.2.14, Firefox 2.0.0.3, ROX-Filer 2.6, K3B 1.0. Libraries and toolchain up to date with Slackware current changelog of April 30th. Please test.
