| Red Hat is pleased to announce the availability of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Beta 2. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 has been developed in close cooperation with the Fedora Core 6 and the upstream community. This is the first Red Hat Enterprise Linux release that includes Xen-based open source virtualization technology. The Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Beta 2 release contains virtualization support on the x86 and x86_64 architectures as well as a technology preview of Xen for Itanium 2. We are particularly interested in your testing feedback on the virtualization technology. |
