JSP Window. Open is used to open a new window in JSP.

 

JSP Window. Open

                          

JSP Window. Open  is used to open a new window in JSP. The JavaScript function  window.open( ) open a new browser window for the viewer to use. The syntax of this method is :

window.open('url','window name','attribute1, attribute2') : The method allows you to open a new browser url with required attribute like width and height. The height and width specify the window size.

Understand with Example

In this section, you will study how to open a new window in jsp. You can see in the given example that we have used the JavaScript function window.open()  to open a new browser window for the viewer to use. The syntax of this method is:

window.open('url','window name','attribute1,attribute2')

First of all, you need to put the web address of the page you wish to appear in the new window. Then you can name your window whatever you like. At last you have to put the attributes of window. Here, we have used the attributes width and height.

When you click the button, a new browser window will be open.
