String Concat()

In this section, you will get the detailed explanation about the Concat() method of String class. We are going to use Concat() method of String class in Java. The description of the code is given below for the usage of the method.

Description of the code:

As shown in the example we have taken two strings i.e. str1 and str2. Then we have concatenated both the strings with the help of "+" operator. Concatenation means to add the two or more strings. After concatenating strings we got the following output.

There is another way to concat the strings as well. That is:

"helples".concat("s") returns "helpless"

"con".concat("caten").concat("ation") returns "concatenation"

Parameters:
str - the String that is concatenated to the end of the String.

Returns a string that represents the concatenation of the object's characters followed by the string argument's characters.

Here is the code of the program:

class concat{
  public static void main(String[] args){
    String str1 = "Table";
    String str2 = "Tennis";
    String Game = str1 + " " + str2;
    System.out.println(Game);
    }
}

Here is the code of the program:

C:\unique>javac concat.java

C:\unique>java concat
Table Tennis

C:\unique>
