Convert URI to URL

Here we are going to explain the method to change Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) reference to uniform resource locator (URL). Here we are give a complete example named "ConvertURItoURL.java". First of all in the example we make a  URI object and a URL object. After that we pass a URI "http://www.roseindia.net" through string object in URI's object uri, now we use this object with toURL() method and pass it in URL object and display it as a URL.
The complete example is as under in which we pass the URI as "http://www.roseindia.net" and find out the convert this URI in URL.

Here is the Code of the Example :

ConvertURItoURL .java

import java.net.*;

public class ConvertURItoURL {

  public static void main(String[] args) {
  URI uri = null;
  URL url = null;
  String uriString = "http://www.roseindia.net";
  try {
  uri = new URI(uriString);
  System.out.println("Original uri is:" + uri);
  }
  catch (URISyntaxException e) {
  e.printStackTrace();
  }
  try {
  url = uri.toURL();
  System.out.println("Convert url is:"+ url);
  }
  catch (IllegalArgumentException e) {
  e.printStackTrace();
  }
  catch (MalformedURLException e) {
  e.printStackTrace();
  }
  }
}

The output of the above example is as under when we run the above example.

Here is the Output of the Example :
