How to Calculate Area of Circle

In this tutorial you will learn the method of calculating  the area of circle. In this program you will be taught each and every steps that have used in this program. The description of this program is given below.

Description of program:
In this section we will learn how to use of static method. First of all, we have to define class name "StaticCircle" then define further instance variable in the class. After that we must declare method class which take the double type value by using the "this.radius" operator. Now we will have to  declare the type double, which take the defined value of  radius and pi-value. Then we have to create object and call the area of circle. After that it return the area of circle, return the doubles type values. Thus output will be display on the screen  by using the println() method.

The code is given below

class StaticCircle
{
  public double radius;
  double  pi=3.14;
  public void circle(double radius)
  {
    this.radius=radius;

    }
    public double area()
    {
    double a = radius*radius;
    double piValue= a*pi;
    return piValue;
    }
    public static void main(String[] args
    {
    StaticCircle  staticCircle  = new StaticCircle ();
    staticCircle.circle(10);
    double i = staticCircle.area();
    System.out.println("The area is " + i);
  }
}
