How does Gemio work?

The lighting effects in the band by responding to the surrounding audio and other elements like user movements creates patterns of lighting effects. The band works in the following ways.

  • The band delivers an array of lighting effects like Water Effect, Fire Effect, Sparking Effects, etc.
     
  • Just by tapping on the band the user can change the lighting effect.
     
  • Through the connected MyGemio App, Gemio can send Light Signals to various people present nearby.
     
  • The light signals with specific patterns can deliver short messages ranging from inviting to join or bidding adieu, etc.
     
  • When nor wearing it, the motion sensor automatically turning off save the battery power.
     
  • The optical sensor in the band allows adjusting the brightness as per the room ambiance.
     
  • Gemio is charged wirelessly and with a single charge the dual batteries can help the device function for a full night.
     
  • The wristband is connected with a compatible mobile app called My Gemio App that remains in charge for controlling and setting the band. The app allows controlling different actions with the band ranging from choosing colors and light effects to emitting signals to connect friends in a party.

What Gemio cost and when it is going o be available?

Gemio earned overwhelming response in its Kickstarter campaign raising almost double against the target of $50,000. Gemio is going to be available soon and reportedly is to be shipped from November.
