JavaFX, a family of products, is based on Java technology to create Rich Internet applications (RIAs) that simplifies and speed up the creation and deployment of high-impact content for a wide range of devices including mobile devices, settop boxes, desktops, even Blu-ray discs. Currently JavaFX consists of JavaFX Script and JavaFX Mobile. JavaFX competes with Adobe AIR and Microsoft?s Silverlight technologies in the current RIA market. JavaFX gives a consistence user experience irrespective of  the device you are currently online, whether desktop or PDA.
