User interaction

The editor of Xcarecrows 4 XML builds on top of Eclipse IDE to provide the user with a familiar, tree structured view of his XML documents. Supported by a built-in graphical XML comparator, it handles the core editing functions available to the user. To further save time, a discrete wizard helps choosing amongst the standard types of XML documents when starting a new edition.

Validation

Thanks to XML Schema, Xcarecrows 4 XML offers the standard checks needed to verify the conformance of XML documents. Beyond a straightforward validation, Xcarecrows 4 XML tightly couples with the user's XML schemas to guide him dynamically during his editions of XML documents. As the standard W3C XML Schema itself is included in Xcarecrows 4 XML , the user can manage both his XML documents and the XML schemas which describe them.

Integration

Xcarecrows 4 XML automates the processing of XML documents through XSL Transformations (XSLT). It adds to the Eclipse IDE the ability to edit chains of XSL stylesheets. The chains of transformations are then stored in the project and ready for an easy use at any point in time.
