An Eclipse plugin for rapid J2EE application development and debugging. Create and test EJBs and JSPs without deploying the application to a server.

Software development is an incremental process of writing code, compiling it and testing it. The faster a developer can perform this loop, the more productive they can be. Glider brings rapid incremental development to J2EE by making it possible to run and debug applications without having to deploy them to a server.

Glider provides a fast run-time environment for EJBs, JSPs and other J2EE components. Glider?s runtime environment requires little or no configuration, and is run entirely in memory. This makes Glider particularly useful for regression testing of J2EE applications, since the runtime environment can be rapidly reset to a known state between each test.
