Example below demonstrates bigdecimal class multiply method example. Method returns a bigdecimal object value. Method multiply  this.object value with the value of the specified object. Scale of the result will be as per context settings.

In the example two bigdecimal objects are created and assigned integer as well double type values. 
Method throws NumberFormatException if it finds value other than integer & double.

Syntax for using the method : public BigDecimal multiply(BigDecimal multiplicand, MathContext mc)
BigDecimal objects with names x ,y & z;
y = x.multiply(y,mc);
