iPhone Production Doubled
There is some good news for iPhone buffs as Apple has reportedly doubled the iPhone production in anticipation of the high demand for the new iPhone model, expected to be launched in June 2009.
Sources reveal that the new iPhone will have better video and camera capabilities than the current model, which lacks on both fronts. Not only will users be able to shoot great quality videos, they will be able to capture both moving and static pics with their new iPhone.
The present model has a measly 2MP camera and no video recording options, although you can play downloaded or received videos. This was seen as one of the last remaining deficiencies in this otherwise revolutionary smartphone.
Also the source reveals that the new iPhone will be available in multiple models, with the upper-end model offering great quality videos comparable or better than those offered by the Flip camcorders of pure Digital. Apart from this Apple is also expected to launch a lower end model for the masses, priced at $100-$150.
